‘Creating Presentations That Stick: Engaging Your Audience’ Sept. 30

Join Human Resources’ Employee Learning and Engagement for “Creating Presentations That Stick: Engaging Your Audience” on Thursday, Sept. 30, from 10:30 a.m. to noon CT.

Rooted in learning science, this virtual workshop explores what makes presentations engaging and interactive. Participants will explore what engagement means and how to leverage instructional design and audience engagement principles.

Through analysis of examples and shared experiences, participants will distinguish components of engaging and interactive presentations versus ones that are not as engaging. They will discuss how to apply design principles to make their own presentations more engaging—whether in person, virtual, or a mix of both.

In the first part of this workshop (“Design Principles”), participants explored what makes presentations effective and memorable. Part 1 is strongly encouraged but not required before participating in Part 2.
