Vanderbilt Human Resources’ Employee Learning and Engagement team has announced that speaker applications are now open for TEDxVanderbiltUniversity 2022. Applications are due by Oct. 15. The TEDxVanderbiltUniversity event is scheduled for April 10, 2022. More details about the event will be announced at a later date.
What is TEDx?
In the spirit of “ideas worth spreading,” TED has created a program called TEDx featuring local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. The “x” in TEDx designates an independently organized TED event.
At TEDxVanderbiltUniversity, TED Talks videos and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection within a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including Vanderbilt’s, are self-organized.
2022 will mark Vanderbilt’s seventh annual TEDx event. Those eligible to participate include current Vanderbilt University students, including graduate and professional students, and Vanderbilt University faculty, staff, postdoctoral scholars and alumni.
