Geo-Jobe, on behalf of the Vanderbilt University Facilities department, will be flying a fixed-wing drone over campus on Sunday, Sept. 12, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Facilities department schedules a drone flyover twice a year to capture aerial footage and imagery of the tree canopy around campus. This imagery is also used by Facilities’ Geographic Information Services (GIS) department to update all campus maps to accurately reflect the campus.
The drone flight is university-approved and is not expected to disrupt any activities scheduled on campus.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Facilities Information Services at fis@vanderbilt.edu.
