Fall Staff Assembly to be held Nov. 2; staff award nominations now open

The Fall Staff Assembly and staff awards are part of the semiannual effort to celebrate staff excellence and recognize the many contributions of university staff to Vanderbilt’s mission. This year’s Fall Staff Assembly is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 2.

“The Fall Staff Assembly is a way of honoring our staff’s diverse expertise and vital contributions to Vanderbilt’s mission—as teams and as individuals,” Chancellor Daniel Diermeier said. “By celebrating growth, mentorship, collaboration and leadership among our many talented staff members, the assembly and the awards underscore the importance of our One Vanderbilt culture, which is something that truly sets our university apart.”

Award nominations, which are submitted online, are open through Thursday, Sept. 30. Please see the staff awards website for nomination guidelines and award amounts. The Staff Awards Review Committee reviews all applications and makes a recommendation to senior administration.
