Vanderbilt University will welcome the 2021-22 cohort of Humphrey Fellows on Aug. 15. The Humphrey Fellowship Program brings accomplished educational leaders from developing nations and emerging democracies to the United States for an academic year to study, gain related professional experience, build leadership capacity and foster mutual understanding.
This year’s fellows come from Bangladesh, Barbados, Burundi, Cambodia, Central African Republic, Estonia, Kyrgyzstan, Maldives, Philippines, Pakistan, Turkey and Ukraine.
Volunteers are needed on Sunday, Aug. 15, to help with move-in. This entails moving items from storage units into moving trucks and then into apartments from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. A free pizza lunch will be provided for all volunteers.
