Turkey Toss, a longstanding Vanderbilt holiday tradition in which the university expresses thanks to faculty, staff and postdoctoral scholars, looked a little different in 2020. The event was held on Dec. 18.
Transformed into a drive-through experience, more than 1,300 turkeys and tofurkeys were gifted to faculty, staff and postdocs, and more than 200 turkeys were donated to Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee.
