Further research by biochemistry professors Charles Sanders and  Bruce Carter into therapeutics for Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, an inherited condition that damages peripheral nerves, will be funded by Ancora Innovation LLC, a Deerfield Management company that supports Vanderbilt’s innovative life science research.
