Credits and fees
Add or subtract the below numbers to your costs from the appropriate chart above to see your final monthly premium:
- Subtract $20 per month if you and your covered family member(s) are tobacco-free.
- Add $100 per month if your working spouse has access to health coverage through another employer, but prefers using the Vanderbilt Health Plan. (This will not apply if you both work at Vanderbilt.)
Open Enrollment begins at 8 a.m. on Oct. 19 and ends at 11:59 p.m. on Nov 2. Elections are effective Jan. 1–Dec. 31, 2021, unless you have a qualifying event, like getting married or having a baby. Learn more about Open Enrollment at vu.edu/oe.
