‘Disrupting Everyday Bias’ workshop now available every weekday through Sept. 30

The “Disrupting Everyday Bias” workshop, hosted by Human Resources, is now available every weekday through Sept. 30.

In this two-hour online instructor-led workshop, participants will learn the skills to disrupt the impact of bias in their interactions, behaviors and decision-making and the various ways unconscious bias can impede the development of a diverse and inclusive work environment.

In order to mitigate the negative impact of bias, participants are introduced to tools and strategies to disrupt everyday bias and create situations to make decisions in a more conscious manner. This workshop supports the university’s ongoing efforts to address unconscious bias, and all faculty and staff are invited to participate in one of these sessions.

September dates are currently available for registration in Oracle Learning. Two special sessions will be hosted each month, one in the morning and one in the evening, for those unable to join during work hours.

To register for one of the daily sessions, please visit Oracle Learning and search for “Disrupting Everyday Bias.”
