Commodore fans are invited to participate in a virtual 5K event, the proceeds of which will benefit Feed Our Heroes, an organization that delivers end-of-shift meals to local health care workers fighting COVID-19.
From June 5 to 8, participants can run, jog or walk the 5K and share photos or report their stats recorded on smart phones and watches via social media using the hashtag #FeedOurHeroes5K. The fee to register is $20, and 100 percent of the proceeds will be donated to Feed Our Heroes.

Those who register by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, will receive a customized digital race bib to be delivered via email. All participants also will receive a free ticket to the Vanderbilt football season opener.
