Vanderbilt Campus Dining has announced a new partnership with Athletics that will allow students, faculty and staff with a Campus Dining meal plan to use a meal swipe at men’s and women’s basketball games at Memorial Gym.
The program launches with the Nov. 20 men’s basketball game vs. Austin Peay State University at 7 p.m. Fans with a meal plan will be able to use their Commodore Card to swipe for one of two meal options:
Option 1: Hot dog, popcorn, medium fountain drink
Option 2: Chicken Caesar salad, popcorn, medium fountain drink
The new “Order Up and Anchor Down” program adds yet another option to the array of flexible dining choices on Vanderbilt’s campus.
“We are excited to collaborate with Athletics on this program and give our students even more reason to head to Memorial Gym to cheer on the ‘Dores this season,” said Sean Carroll, director of marketing and communications for Vanderbilt University Business Services.
This new Athletics venue dining option works with standard meal plans, flex meals, guest meals and faculty/staff flex meals and is only available at the concession stands near Sections H/I/J in Memorial Gym, located near the student section. Attendees can use one meal per hour.
Vanderbilt Campus Dining has a passion for providing excellent food at the highest levels of quality, value, convenience and service, and for helping to enhance the residential college experience, promote sustainability and foster a culture of health and wellness through its diverse culinary offerings, Carroll said.
