Oracle releases new versions of Oracle Cloud on a quarterly basis. Vanderbilt’s Oracle Cloud environment will be upgraded to the latest release during the weekend of Nov. 16–18. This quarterly release includes additional updates to the user interface and new features that will be implemented in the coming weeks.
System downtime
The quarterly upgrade will begin at 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, and continue through Sunday, Nov. 18. Users should not attempt to access the system during the upgrade.
A downtime notice will be displayed on the SkyVU website while the upgrade and testing are underway and will be removed when these activities are complete and the system is available to all users.
Submit biweekly time cards in advance of downtime
Biweekly employees should submit their time cards, and their managers should approve those time cards, as soon as work is completed on Friday, Nov. 16.
If you will be working during the weekend, please ensure your time card is submitted and approved before 9 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 19.
