E. Bronson Ingram College, Vanderbilt’s newest living-learning community, sparked to life in August when 340 sophomores, juniors and seniors took up residence there. “Bronson,” as the residential college is affectionately known among students, features state-of-the art accommodations inside stunning Collegiate Gothic-style architecture.
Notable spaces include a popular dining hall with cuisine focused on Asian-inspired dishes, a great room and living room, music rooms and rehearsal studios, and meeting spaces and lounges. Faculty Director Sarah Igo and Area Coordinator Danny Coradazzi live among the students and help foster dialogue and discovery outside of the classroom.
The college is named for the late E. Bronson Ingram, who served on Vanderbilt’s Board of Trust for nearly three decades and led the board from 1991 to 1995. Three Ingram family members—Robin Ingram Patton, John Ingram and Orrin Ingram—made gifts totaling $20 million to name the college.
