Watch as nutrition experts demonstrate culinary techniques to help prepare dishes carefully chosen for this cooking class. Learn the art of making spring rolls and stir fry, as well as creating desserts that are not only delicious, but healthy. Attendees will receive samples of the dishes created and recipes complete with nutrition analysis.
Marilyn Holmes has more than 40 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian and in population health management. Currently, she is an associate director with the Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center. Emily Cox is a Certified Health Education Specialist and Health Educator for Health Plus. In her role, Emily provides nutrition programming and general health education to Vanderbilt faculty and staff. Katie Carbonell, Molecular and Cellular Biology major, is in her senior year at Vanderbilt and is the current CHAARG president.
Greek Member Experience (GME) and (DYV) credit for Personal Wellbeing will be available for Vanderbilt students attending. Space is limited, reserve now at the Rec Member Portal.
