Mark your calendars for Thursday, June 7, for the 2018 Vanderbilt Family Night with the Nashville Symphony, an Employee Appreciation event. Enjoy the warm summer nights of June! Bring your favorite lawn chair, pack a picnic dinner, and immerse yourself in an evening of popular classics.
What better way to spend time with family and friends on a summer evening than listening to live music? The Nashville Symphony will be a wonder of their own as they perform an enchanting evening of familiar selections from Bernstein’s Candide to Rossini’s William Tell Overture to a fan-favorite selection composed by John Williams. The symphony will begin its performance at 7:30 p.m., but come early to enjoy the Musicians Corner activities. The Musicians Corner will be in the southwest area of Centennial Park, and activities begin at 5 p.m.
Bring your appetite, grab some food from the food trucks, and hang out with the family at the Musicians Corner Kidsville before the performance. Be sure to bring a blanket or lawn chair; early birds get the best spots.
