This year’s Employee Appreciation Picnic will host a number of new vendors, including Nissan, Mosquito Squad, Moe’s and Hilton. Departments also will have booths set up. Vanderbilt Athletics, Vanderbilt Credit Union, the Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center, Health Plus and SkyVU will be represented.
Employees will have the opportunity to win prizes and enter drawings this year. VU Athletics will offer discounted tickets to sporting events. VU Credit Union will have promotional items available and will draw for a $250 VISA gift card. Human Resources will hold a drawing for a family four-pack to Monster Jam, and an Oral-B GENIUS series electronic toothbrush as well as a BATCH gift box from Aertson Midtown will be given away.
This year a DJ from FADDS’s Entertainment will keep the energy high while you and your colleagues compete in the limbo or hula hoop contest or “rock out” in the air guitar contest. And don’t forget the essential selfie station for photos to remember the experience.
