A project to resurface Children’s Way will close portions of the roadway on Saturday, March 25, and Saturday, April 1.
Milling operations on March 25 will begin at 9 a.m. and will proceed with the flow of traffic starting on Medical Center Drive and continuing west to 24th Avenue. Once the west-bound lane is complete, work will commence on the east-bound lane back toward Medical Center Drive. Temporary striping will follow immediately after the milling operation is complete.
Resurfacing operations on April 1 will begin at 9 a.m. and will follow the same sequence as the milling operations. Permanent striping will follow immediately after the paving is complete.
Traffic officers will be stationed at intersections to direct traffic throughout the duration of the project.
