Adult boxing clinic

The Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center (VRWC) is pleased to offer an adult boxing clinic this spring. Have fun learning the how-to’s of boxing while getting fit just in time for the summer. This clinic will be taught by USA Boxing coach and certified personal trainer Tramaine Crook. Participants should come to class prepared with their own boxing gloves and hand wraps.

Classes run Feb. 6–April 3 and meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:30 to 5:25 p.m. Register online by Feb. 3 at http://www.vanderbilt.edu/recreationandwellnesscenter/fitness/clinicsandevents.php.

Youth boxing classes

Kids will have a blast learning the how-to’s of boxing while getting fit in this co-ed, non-contact class for ages 12-17. Taught by USA Boxing coach Tramaine Crook, participants will meet at the VRWC to master punches, blocks and combos and to learn to move like a pro boxer. Participants should come to class prepared with boxing gloves and hand wraps.
