Family members who do not live near elderly loved ones often come home to find living situations have changed since their previous visit. Assessing these situations objectively can be difficult and lead to stress, tense conversations and hurt feelings.
Amy Walter, a licensed master social worker with Senior Helpers, will provide resources to help you assess your loved one’s self-sufficiency to remain in the home.
“How to tell if my loved one needs in-home help”
