Open Enrollment for 2017 benefits is right around the corner. Are you ready?
As you think about your and your family’s needs over the coming year, consider that the elections you make during Open Enrollment will be effective for all of 2017.
After the plan year starts on Jan. 1, 2017, you can only make coverage changes if you have a qualifying life event. Consider your choices carefully; changes and corrections are not permitted except during Open Enrollment or within 30 days of a qualifying event, like getting married or having a baby.
Open Enrollment begins at 8 a.m. on Oct. 17 and ends at 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 31. Visit vu.edu/oe for additional information.
