WOW Nov. 18: ‘The Challenge of Corruption in Papua New Guinea’

International Student and Scholar Services invites you to World on Wednesdays, where the Vanderbilt community engages in presentations, informal conversations and topical lectures on global issues.

Topic: “The Challenge of Corruption in Papua New Guinea”

Olto Thomas, a Hubert H. Humphrey visiting fellow at Vanderbilt and an educator from Papua New Guinea, will give a presentation about the effect of corruption in the government while his country continues to grow. With resource development on the rise and continued growth a consistent trend, it is important to consider initiatives to combat corruption.
