World on Wednesday: ‘The Governance of Antarctica: A Continent without a Country’ March 29
Antarctica is 10% of Earth’s landmass, yet there are no countries on it and no one owns it. At this World on Wednesday, presented by International Student & Scholar Services, Professor Dan Morgan, associate dean in the College of Arts & Science, will lead a discussion on how the Antarctic Treaty is a framework for scientific diplomacy and governing the commons.
