Media Advisory
The Vanderbilt community can learn more about the candidates running for Nashville mayor, vice mayor and Metro Council at a July 16 picnic inside the university’s Recreation and Wellness Center.
All of the candidates appearing on the Aug. 6 ballot are invited to attend the event, meet and greet attendees, stand on a soapbox to address the audience and hand out literature. The seven mayoral candidates and many others on the ballot have confirmed that they plan to attend.
Vanderbilt’s faculty, students, staff and neighbors are invited to enjoy a picnic lunch and learn more about those running for office. Those planning to attend are requested to RSVP.
