In light of measles outbreak, VUMC staff should be current on vaccine

Fifty-one confirmed cases of measles have now been identified from an exposure at Disneyland Parks in California. The outbreak has spread to six U.S. states and Mexico.

Vaccination is highly effective. Vanderbilt University Medical Center employees need to have received two doses of MMR in childhood, or one dose after age 18.

Check the Health and Wellness Information Portal to see if your MMR is up-to-date.
