Staff and students from Vanderbilt’s Office of Active Citizenship and Service will reflect on their experiences as volunteers in Morocco, London, South Africa and Ecuador, and discuss the challenges and rewards of entering another community and how best to approach international service in a mutually beneficial manner.
The talk is scheduled from 12:10 to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, in the Student Life Center’s lower level meeting rooms 1 and 2. It is part of the World on Wednesdays series sponsored by International Student and Scholar Services.
