Most people see the new year as a starting point for changes that they want to make. What types of changes are you hoping to make in order to make next year a healthier year? From a nutrition standpoint, a good place to start is by getting back to the basics.
- Drink more water and less of anything else.
- Eat more fruits and vegetables.
- Eat more grilled and baked foods and less fried foods.
- Choose whole grains.
- Cut down on the amount of sweets you eat.
- Track your food intake.
For a good app to track your food, try MyFitnessPal or Calorie Count.
