Vandy Chills, the highly anticipated annual Employee Celebration Month-sponsored event at which free ice cream bars are handed out to faculty and staff, attracted hundreds to several locations across campus on Aug. 8.
More than 14,000 ice cream bars were handed out, according to organizer Susie Lyons.
Stations were set up at numerous spots, including Medical Center Plaza, 3401 West End, the Baker Building, and more.
Members of Vanderbilt’s leadership helped hand out the treats, including Head Football Coach James Franklin, Chief Human Resources Officer and Associate Vice Chancellor Traci Nordberg, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Plant Operations Mark Petty, and many more.
