A new 10-week session of Weight Watchers at Work will meet at the Student Life Center beginning Sept. 28.

This group meets at 11 a.m. in Room 109 of the SLC each Wednesday.

The difference between At Work meetings and traditional Weight Watchers meetings is that all costs are paid in sessions. This means that everything is paid at the time of joining. The cost includes all meetings for the session and your materials. You may join at any time, and the cost will be pro-rated for the number of weeks left in the session. A meeting typically lasts 45 minutes to one hour (including weigh in and the meeting topic).

The cost of a full 10-week session is $120 for new members and $100 for lifetime members over their goal weight by more than 10 pounds. Payment can be made by cash, check, VISA or MasterCard. Vanderbilt does not process payroll deduction at this time.

You may pay in two installments. Both checks must be given to the leader on the first day of the session; however, one may be post-dated for halfway through the session (i.e. Nov. 2).

Health Plus supports you as you work toward getting to a healthy weight. Health Plus offers full-time faculty and staff a Vanderbilt Weight Watchers at Work credit of $25 each time you register, pay for and participate in a series/attend eight out of 10 meetings. Traditional meetings can count toward attendance for missed At Work meetings due to conflicts.

There are four different groups that meet at Vanderbilt – find a location that works for you. For more information on this group, contact Tracie Grandy or Melissa Ahler.
