The new session of Weight Watchers at Work scheduled to begin May 31 at Loews Vanderbilt Plaza has been postponed. This session will now begin June 7.

The difference between At Work meetings and traditional Weight Watchers meetings is that all costs are paid in sessions. This means that everything is paid at the time of joining. The cost includes all meetings for the session and your materials. You can join at any time and the cost will be pro-rated for the number of weeks left in the session. A meeting typically lasts 45 minutes to 1 hour (includes weigh-in and the meeting topic). This group meets at 11 a.m. in Suite 700 at Loews Vanderbilt Plaza on West End Avenue.

Weight Watchers is running a special rate for a limited time.  When you pay the regular amount for the 10-week session you will receive two weeks free. The cost of a full 12-week session is $120 for new and rejoining members, $110 for transferring and continuing members, and only $100 for lifetime members who are over their goal weight by more than 10 pounds. Payment can be made by cash, check, VISA or MasterCard. Vanderbilt does not process payroll deduction at this time.

Health Plus supports you as you work toward getting to a healthy weight. Health Plus offers full-time faculty and staff a Vanderbilt Weight Watchers at Work credit of $25 each time you register, pay for and participate in a series.

There are several Weight Watchers groups that meet at Vanderbilt, so if this location does not work for you we can help you locate another campus meeting. Contact Jonessa Milliken,, if you have any questions on this group, or contact Beth Dunaway,, for information on other groups.
