NASHVILLE, Tenn.—The National Center on School Choice at Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College of education and human development is hosting a national conference on charter school research Thursday, Sept. 28, and Friday, Sept. 29.
In three panel discussions, economic, law, political science, psychology, public finance and sociology experts will discuss teaching and learning in charter schools, governance and finance, and charter school effects on student achievement.
Video of the keynote address by Mark Schneider, commissioner of the National Center for Education Statistics in the Institute of Education Sciences, will be streamed live from VUCast, www.vanderbilt.edu/news.
