Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s “promise” of the future is to personalize medicine for each individual patient — identifying each patient’s unique genetic difference, then making evidence-based decisions at the bedside to reflect these differences.
Tickets are free to Vanderbilt students, faculty and staff and must be picked up in advance at the Sarratt Student Center box office. Only one free ticket may be picked up per person with Vanderbilt identification card.
Issues including Climategate, the future of electric cars and floodplain policy will be examined during the fall 2010 Saturday University lecture series at Vanderbilt University, which brings the expertise of the Vanderbilt faculty to the Nashville community.

Six gardens recently planted around Library Lawn are designed to help rebuild a habitat for pollinating animals that play an important role in our food supply. The gardens are funded by a new Fulbright Canada Eco-Leadership grant and Vanderbilt student group SPEAR – Students Promoting Environmental Awareness and Responsibility.
