Vanderbilt University receives six regional Emmy nominations

Vanderbilt University has received six regional Emmy nominations from the MidSouth Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. The nominations were announced during the regional Emmy nominations party Nov. 21 at BMI.

The Vanderbilt nominations are:

  • Informational Instructional Program – “VUCast: The Power to Heal,” Amy Wolf, Pat Slattery, Mike Todd and Carole Bartoo (University News and Communications)
  • Informational Instructional Program – “A Matter of Principals,” Lyle Jackson and Jack Isenhour (Peabody College)
  • Sports Segment – “Signing Day 2013,” Pat Slattery and Emily Pearce (University News and Communications)
  • Editor/Program – “Signing Day 2013,” Pat Slattery (University News and Communications)
  • Editor/Program – “A Matter of Principals,” Lyle Jackson (Peabody College)
  • Writer/Program – “A Matter of Principals,” Lyle Jackson and Jack Isenhour (Peabody College)

The winners will be announced Jan. 25, 2014, at the 28th Regional Emmy Award ceremony to be held at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville.
