Gather on Sept. 11 to share in the remembrance of the tragedy eleven years ago. Meet at noon at the flagpole on Alumni Lawn. There will be an interfaith prayer, a moment of silence and a few words delivered in remembrance of the day.
At 7 p.m. that evening, in Ballroom A of the Student Life Center, the women of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc. and the Office of International Student and Scholar Services will host a dinner and a presentation on the perception of the Muslim community since 9/11. The discussion will be facilitated by ISSS Director Sherif Barsoum.
