Express Courier selected as Vanderbilt’s primary courier service

Vanderbilt has awarded a contract to Express Courier to serve as the primary courier to the university central campus and Vanderbilt University Medical Center, effective Nov 21.

The university has consolidated to a single service provider to significantly reduce costs, accommodate emergency courier needs and to offer services such as GPS delivery tracking, state-of-the-art technology for real-time tracking and Web-based ordering.

The transition to Express Courier from the current courier services will begin Nov. 21 and should be complete by Dec. 5. After Dec. 5, courier services should be booked with Express Courier.

A secondary contract was awarded to Green Fleet Messengers for those who wish to use an environmentally friendly bicycle courier service for more limited courier service needs.
