By now you should have received an email inviting you to take the online Vanderbilt Staff Community Survey. The email came from carleym@hrsolutionsinc.com with the subject line Important: Vanderbilt Staff Community Survey Oct. 17-31. It included a survey code that is unique to each staff member. Please do not share your survey code – each code can only be used once.
If you didn’t receive the email, or if you deleted the email, please go to the HR Solutions survey and click the link to get your survey code. You can also contact Carley Meyers, HR Solutions Project Manager, at (312) 863-6106 or carleym@hrsolutionsinc.com.
The Staff Community Survey is open Oct. 17-31 and I encourage you to participate. This year, staff from both the university and the medical center will complete the confidential survey (faculty will take a separate survey at a later date).
Employee engagement surveys give us an opportunity to hear from employees on a variety of topics that both interest and affect them. Vanderbilt is committed to being a great place to work and we want to know what matters and how to engage our employees in our mission and their work.
Please be assured that all responses are confidential. Vanderbilt has hired HR Solutions, based in Chicago, to collect all survey responses and report back to Vanderbilt in group format only.
The survey has 58 questions and takes about 15 minutes to complete. We’ll ask for your candid opinion about the organization’s strategy and mission, communication within the organization, overall job satisfaction, pay, benefits and training and development. You will also have an opportunity to give feedback about your manager as well as your manager’s supervisor.
The survey is online only. If you don’t have a computer, please contact the Employee Service Center at 343-7000 or human.resources@vanderbilt.edu for a schedule of computer labs and locations where you can take it.
