No Towers spot was as iconic as the tunnel. The underground pathway passed under 24th Avenue, connecting the first floor of Towers 1 and 2 to the first floor of Towers 3 and 4. Exposed pipes covered in student graffiti lined both walls. The floor slanted down from each side until meeting in the middle, where water often collected after rainfall. Through the years Vanderbilt undergraduates painted along the walls, ceiling, floor and doors.
