Record number of students awarded VUSRP funding for summer 2021
Apr. 26, 2021—The Office of the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs has awarded more than 150 students with stipends to support their research experiences this summer through the Vanderbilt Undergraduate Summer Research Program.
Registration for seventh annual Vanderbilt Undergraduate Research Fair now open
Aug. 25, 2020—The seventh annual Vanderbilt Undergraduate Research Fair is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 8. This year’s event will be virtual, complete with presenters, breakout sessions and a chance to safely and responsibly interact with students, faculty and staff from across campus.
Multiple Vanderbilt summer programs canceled due to COVID-19
Apr. 20, 2020—Many Vanderbilt non-academic programs, camps and special events are being canceled for summer 2020 to protect the health and safety of the community during the coronavirus outbreak.
2020 VUSRP applications now open
Dec. 4, 2019—Applications are now open for the summer 2020 cycle of the Vanderbilt Undergraduate Summer Research Program, which provides awards of $5,000–$6,000 to rising sophomores, juniors and seniors engaged in 10 weeks of full-time research with a Vanderbilt faculty member. Students can use their VUSRP experience to satisfy Immersion Vanderbilt.
Undergraduate Research Fair showcases more than 140 student presentations
Sep. 20, 2017—The fourth annual Vanderbilt Undergraduate Research Fair was a successful showcase of 147 student poster presentations, with more than 300 faculty, students, staff and community members in attendance.

Oct. 26, 2016—With more than 140 poster presentations, the fair experienced a 40 percent increase in student presentations from the previous year. In addition, more than 330 Vanderbilt students, faculty, staff and community members were in attendance.
