May. 20, 2016—Animals at the Nashville Zoo and Walden’s Puddle recently enjoyed taking part in a bit of Vanderbilt tradition when the university donated strawberries left over from Commencement to the two organizations.
Apr. 28, 2016—Hawkins Field, home of Vanderbilt’s national championship baseball team, has replaced all existing High-Intensity Discharge (HID) fixtures on the field with fewer Light-Emitting Diode (LED) fixtures.

Feb. 10, 2016—The overall number of cartridges recycled, the recovery rate of cartridges, and donations made from recycling proceeds were at all-time highs in 2015, resulting in donations to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, the Susan Gray School, and the Faculty and Staff Hardship Fund.
