Mar. 5, 2021—Vanderbilt hosts a gathering of the university’s most engaged volunteer leaders each spring for a special weekend of activities designed to foster collaboration in support of the university's mission and momentum. This year all events were held virtually during Volunteer Leadership Week, an extended slate of programming presented Feb. 22–26.

May. 4, 2020—On May 5, you are invited to participate in Giving Tuesday Now, a global day of giving and unity held in response to COVID-19. Your meaningful gift of any size will help to strengthen Vanderbilt University’s Student Hardship Fund, COVID-19 Research and Innovation Fund, or any school or program.
Apr. 16, 2020—Vanderbilt University will use $2.8 million it receives as part of the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act to directly support students who have demonstrated need and are facing significant financial challenges due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Mar. 20, 2020—Vanderbilt University has announced two initiatives to support students and their families during the global COVID-19 pandemic: housing and dining financial adjustments for the spring 2020 semester, and the launch of a newly established Student Hardship Fund. The university also is committed to preserving the compensation and benefits of its housing, dining and other staff whose roles were affected by the move to alternative and online education this semester.
