Vanderbilt to host satellite meeting Nov. 19 of National Academies’ Action Collaborative on Preventing Sexual Harassment in Higher Education
Oct. 31, 2019—Vanderbilt will host a satellite meeting of the first Public Summit of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine Action Collaborative on Preventing Sexual Harassment in Higher Education. The campus event is set for Nov. 19 in The Commons Center Multipurpose Room.
Vanderbilt climate surveys on sexual assault and misconduct show informed and engaged campus community, challenges remaining
Oct. 15, 2019—Vanderbilt University released on Tuesday the findings of two surveys conducted earlier this year assessing student, postdoctoral fellow and faculty experiences with sexual assault and sexual misconduct.
Feb. 1, 2019—The information collected from the Student Campus Climate Survey on Sexual Assault and Misconduct will help Vanderbilt to better understand how intimate partner violence affects the student community and how the university can continue to improve campus resources.
Jan. 28, 2019—Vanderbilt has joined with peers in the Association of American Universities (AAU) to share concerns and provide observations about the likely effects of the U.S. Department of Education’s proposed new Title IX regulations.
