Mar. 26, 2019—Daniel Culbreath, a widely respected government strategist and policy expert who previously worked for the Tennessee General Assembly’s senior leadership, has been named assistant vice chancellor for state government relations at Vanderbilt University.
Sep. 5, 2018—The biannual report, published by the Division of Public Affairs, summarizes Vanderbilt’s year-to-date activities at the federal, state and local levels of government.
Feb. 17, 2016—Vanderbilt Day on the Hill Feb. 16 provided an opportunity to thank members of the Tennessee General Assembly for their service to the state and for their continuing partnerships with the university.
Jan. 21, 2016—Vanderbilt hosted a reception Jan. 19 to honor the members of the 109th General Assembly. State legislators, staff members and other state government officials mingled with Vanderbilt representatives during the event at the Tennessee State Museum.
Apr. 1, 2015—Vanderbilt hosted a Day on the Hill breakfast reception for state legislators and staff members March 31 and showcased Vanderbilt's significant impact in each of Tennessee's 95 counties. The Melodores also performed.
Oct. 29, 2014—Tennessee government affairs veteran Nathan Green will join Vanderbilt University’s public affairs team Dec. 1 in the newly created position of assistant vice chancellor for state government relations.
