Aug. 29, 2018—SafeVU has been upgraded and renamed VandySafe. Features include emergency calling, reporting, services and guides, improved aesthetics and more.

SafeVU is getting an upgrade; new app available July 1

May. 21, 2018—The existing SafeVU app will expire on June 30. The new-and-improved app will be available on July 1 and will require existing SafeVU users to delete the old app and download the new one.

Crisis management panel talks campus safety at USAC meeting

Phone service to be temporarily unavailable Jan. 15

Jan. 3, 2017—Vanderbilt IT will upgrade the telephone system at 4 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 15, which will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. During this time, the telephone system will be unavailable.
