New inpatient unit at Medical Center East debuts June 19
Jun. 7, 2018—The conversion of the eighth floor of Medical Center East (MCE)-North Tower on the Vanderbilt University Medical Center campus from outpatient space to inpatient beds is now complete and the new unit is scheduled to open on Tuesday, June 19.
Otten named senior director of Space and Facilities Planning
Mar. 29, 2018—Bobby Otten has been named senior director of Space and Facilities Planning. In this new role, Otten will oversee ongoing construction projects at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, planning of new construction and renovation of existing Medical Center space.

Construction blasting resumes for Village 21 project
Jan. 28, 2016—The Office of Space and Facilities Planning reports that construction blasting has resumed at the Village 21 project at the corner of Wedgewood Avenue and 21st Avenue South.
Construction blasting planned for next three weeks
Nov. 5, 2015—The contractor for the new Village 21 project at the corner of Wedgewood Avenue and 21st Avenue S. will be blasting Monday through Friday this week and for the following two weeks.
VANTAGE lab’s Gold LEED certification is 14th certified project at Vanderbilt
