Ingram steps down June 30 after 12 years as chairman of Vanderbilt’s Board of Trust, she will leave behind a diverse and lasting legacy – including the hiring of two chancellors and the development of a residential college system at Vanderbilt, of which the newly named Martha Rivers Ingram Commons was the crucial first phase.
