Thirteen faculty members receive Provost Research Studios for 2019-20
Jan. 6, 2020—Thirteen faculty members from across the university have been awarded a Provost Research Studio for the 2019-20 academic year. The goal of the PRS is to support the professional development of full-time faculty who are not full professors or otherwise at the top of their promotion ladder.

New faculty Mulubrhan Mogos: Delivering heart-healthy pregnancies
Sep. 29, 2019—Early in his career, as Assistant Professor of Nursing Mulubrhan Mogos cared for fragile babies in a neonatal ICU, he questioned whether the mother’s experience during pregnancy and delivery could provide clues to what went wrong, setting him on a path to study the long-term impact of cardiovascular disease on mothers and babies.
School of Nursing lecture on pregnancy and cardiovascular health set for June 4
May. 17, 2018—Pregnancy, cardiovascular disease and maternal mortality will be the topic when Mulubrhan Mogos, PhD, MSc, speaks Monday, June 4, noon-1 p.m., in Nursing Annex room 162 as part of the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing Dean’s Diversity Lec-ture Series.
