Multicultural University Courses
Sep. 23, 2018—Faculty proposals for the 2019 cycle of University Courses are due Monday, Nov. 12. The University Courses initiative allows faculty to introduce and teach innovative courses to students from across each of Vanderbilt’s schools and colleges.
Mar. 26, 2018—Launching a startup, protecting cultural heritage and examining the impact of LGBTQ policies are among the topics to be explored in the latest set of University Courses, which are designed to promote new and creative trans-institutional teaching and learning and advance Vanderbilt’s mission.
Nov. 3, 2017—Faculty proposals for the 2018 cycle of University Courses, which promote new and creative trans-institutional learning, are due Monday, Nov. 13.
Feb. 13, 2017—Six new courses, ranging from the impact of African music on politics to the interdisciplinary applications of virtual reality to big data methods for smart city development, are among the second set of University Courses to be offered at Vanderbilt University.
