Jul. 31, 2017—Catherine Fuchs, director of the Psychological and Counseling Center, will transition from center director to return to child and adolescent specialty care in her capacity as faculty in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
Jan. 30, 2017—Courtney Salters Henderson, who spent much of her career helping Vanderbilt students develop their leadership skills through student organizations, died Jan. 26 in Nashville. She had been a member of the Vanderbilt community since her days as an undergraduate student, and since 2005 had served as director of student organizations.
Jan. 19, 2017—The Vanderbilt community observed Martin Luther King Jr. Day with a series of lectures, service activities and events Jan. 13-17. The 2017 commemoration was titled “Justice and Democracy? Revolutionizing our American Myths.”
