University updates COVID-19 protocols following CDC guidance; vaccine required for Vanderbilt University-employed faculty and staff
Following revised CDC recommendations indicating that fully vaccinated people no longer need to wear masks or physically distance, the university is modifying many of its COVID-19 protocols. Additionally, all Vanderbilt University-employed faculty, staff and postdoctoral fellows are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 for the 2021–22 academic year. Read MoreMay 25, 2021

Wente, Kopstain launch COVID-19 Safety Protocols Working Group
Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Susan R. Wente and Vice Chancellor for Administration Eric Kopstain have announced the launch of a new working group to focus on reviewing the university’s current COVID-19 protocols in light of changing CDC guidelines with a goal of making recommendations on any potential updates for the summer and fall 2021 semesters.
