Dec. 11, 2018—Chancellor Nicholas S. Zeppos has named Malcolm Turner, a proven and highly accomplished sports business executive with a passion for the transformative power of education, as the university’s new vice chancellor for athletics and university affairs and athletics director. Turner, a member of the NBA’s senior leadership team and president of the NBA G League, will join the university on Feb. 1.
Mar. 15, 2018—The second annual Vanderbilt Football Spring Showcase, the team's featured practice of spring drills, is scheduled for Saturday, March 24, and will feature activities for Commodore fans of all ages.
Jun. 6, 2017—Last month a group of Vanderbilt student-athletes ventured to Jamaica on a service trip to deliver shoes and other supplies to local children as part of Soles4Souls. The Commodores visited a number of local schools and sites during their weeklong visit.
