Commodores advance to College World Series final

Jun. 22, 2015—Vanderbilt defeated Texas Christian 7-1 on Friday to advance to the College World Series final for the second year in a row. In a rematch of last year's championship, the Commodores will defend their national title against Virginia in a best-two-out-of-three series beginning tonight at 7 p.m. on ESPN. Jun. 17, 2015—A rain-delayed, come-from-behind victory in their opening game against Cal State Fullerton and stellar pitching and a critical home run against Texas Christian have propelled Vanderbilt through the winner's bracket at the College World Series. The Dores play again on Friday.

Jun. 15, 2015—Jeren Kendall launched a two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth to lift Vanderbilt to a 4-3 comeback victory over Cal State Fullerton in the College World Series Monday afternoon at TD Ameritrade Park.

Commodores scheduled to resume play Monday

Jun. 15, 2015—Sunday night's Vanderbilt-Cal State Fullerton game at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha was suspended due to rain. Vanderbilt trails 3-0 in the bottom of the 6th. The Commodores and Titans are scheduled to resume play at 11 a.m. Monday on ESPN2.

Fans invited to send off Commodores to College World Series

Jun. 10, 2015—Vanderbilt fans are invited to a send-off celebration as Head Coach Tim Corbin and the baseball team depart for Omaha. The team will depart on Thursday, June 11, at 8 a.m. (fans can begin arriving at 7:45 a.m.) from Parmer Field House.

Commodores are College World Series bound

Jun. 9, 2015—Vanderbilt clinched a return trip to the College World Series with a 4-2 win over Illinois Monday afternoon. They next will meet Cal State Fullerton at 7 p.m. Sunday in Omaha. In addition, a trio of Commodores were selected in the first round of the MLB draft, including No. 1 overall pick Dansby Swanson.

Commodores dominate in Super Regional opener

Jun. 8, 2015—Vanderbilt jumped on Illinois early and cruised to a 13-0 win in the Super Regional opener at Illinois Field Saturday night. The second game in the best-of-three series was postponed Sunday due to weather and is re-scheduled for 3 p.m. today. In addition, several Dores are expected to go highly in Monday's MLB draft.

Jun. 2, 2015—The top-seeded Vanderbilt baseball team blasted No. 2-seeded Radford, 21-0, to complete an undefeated run through the Nashville Regional. The Commodores will take on Illinois in the Super Regionals beginning 7 p.m. Saturday on ESPNU. Meanwhile, players Carson Fulmer and Dansby Swanson are two of the four finalists for the prestigious Golden Spikes Award.

Jun. 1, 2015—Sunday night's Nashville Regional baseball game between Vanderbilt and Radford was postponed due to inclement weather. The game will be played at 3 p.m. Monday.
